D.O. McComb & Sons announces JFLendingahand.com partnership to benefit Erin’s House

D.O. McComb & Sons is joining forces with JFLendingahand.com in a partnership that will benefit Erin’s House for Grieving Children.

As a participating business in the JFLendingahand.com program, D.O. McComb & Sons will make a donation to Erin’s House, a local organization dedicated to helping area youth cope with the loss of a loved one, every time a client completes arrangements and presents the JFLendingahand.com card.

“We are proud of being a family- and locally owned business, and we’re honored to support the important work of Erin’s House and be part of Julia Fiechter’s innovative program,” said Dave McComb, co-owner of McComb & Sons. “We believe that planned giving is important to a community, and we wish to raise awareness of the many ways families benefit from making prearrangements.”

“I am very excited and honored to have D.O. McComb & Sons as a participating business in JFLendingahand.com,” said Julia Fiechter, the program’s developer. “Their support of an innovative and important organization like Erin’s House showcases what makes our community great.”

JFLendingahand.com was launched by Fiechter to expand the ways individuals and businesses give back to the community. “Whenever a customer presents the JFLendingahand.com at a participating business, a donation is made to a designated charitable organization,” explained Fiechter. “In addition, many of those businesses are offering special deals or discounts to card-holders.”

The program’s website, JFLendingahand.com, is regularly updated with lists of participating organizations and businesses and provides complete information about the program, as well as contact information to request a JFLendingahand.com.
