News release from the Allen County Commissioners:
County Tweaks Citizens Square Moving Schedule
Delay affects Commissioners Office, Employee Clinic & Highway Dept.(May 23, 2011) – Moving day is being moved back for a few Allen County government offices and departments that will be relocating from the City-County Building to Citizens Square.
The Board of Commissioners Office, the County IT Department and the County Employees Health Clinic are now scheduled to move on Wednesday, June 8. Plans originally called for all of them to move on May 31.
In addition, the County Highway Department’s move from its West Superior Street building to 200 East Berry has been switched from June 8 to June 22.
The rescheduling will allow all other County offices and departments to remain on their original relocation timetables with minimal effect on the public. The City-County Health Department will be the first to move on May 27.
