The University of Saint Francis Offers Shroud of Turin Display
The University of Saint Francis will display a life-size image of the Shroud of Turin from noon-5 p.m. on Holy Thursday, April 21, in the Edwin Clark Schouweiler Memorial Planetarium in the Achatz Hall of Science.
The shroud display will be located in the planetarium area for solemn meditation and prayer. A documentary presenting the most recent scientific information concerning the Shroud of Turin will be offered in the atrium of Achatz Hall and will repeat each hour during the hours of display.
Light snacks and coffee will also be provided in the atrium. Visitors are encouraged to sit and reflect or enjoy the company of friends in this area. Attendees may stay as long as they wish and are encouraged to freely enter and exit the respective rooms.
