News release from the Downtown GOP Club:

Downtown GOP Club to host State Republican Chairman Eric Holcomb on April 13th

(April 6, 2011) – The Downtown GOP Club of Fort Wayne, an auxiliary unit of the Allen County Republican Party, will host Eric Holcomb, Indiana Republican Party Chairman, at the Allen County Republican headquarters on Wednesday April 13, 2011 at 11:30 a.m.

“The Downtown GOP Club is excited to host Mr. Holcomb at our April luncheon. We look forward to hearing about the effect of the democratic walkout on this year’s legislative session and State GOP plans for the 2012 elections,” said Renee Rousseau Fishering, president of the Downtown GOP Club.

Holcomb previously served as Governor Mitch Daniels campaign manager in his 2008 re-election campaign. He was named Indiana Republican Party chairman in December 2010.

“I’m sure Mr. Holcomb will get a question or two about Governor Daniels’ future plans,” said Casey Cox, moderator of the Downtown GOP Club. “I think Governor Daniels’ is crucial to our Republican 2012 discussion.”
