Rev. Michael Latham, Sr. interview

A little late, but a technical glitch caused the posting to be delayed until today.

On March 8, 2011, I sat down with Rev. Michael Latham, Sr., to talk about this campaign for the Democratic nomination in the 6th City Council district.

In the fourth segment of the interview, I ask about a photo I remember seeing when Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels, a Republican, ran for the office his first time.  I remembered seeing a photo of Rev. Latham signing  the RV1.  I haven’t been able to locate a copy of the photo and Rev. Latham didn’t remember it either.  I do succinctly remember seeing a photo that was widely circulated of Latham and his family along with Daniels after a Daniels stay at his home.  A copy was located from an old campaign brochure, but isn’t suitable for scanning.

After the election, Rev. Latham did go to work for Daniels in the Family and Social Services Administration in 2006.  He was charged with creating a network of volunteer clergy who would work with FSSA clients and employees.  He resigned the position in August, 2007.
