Open Houses Offer Insight into Accelerated MBA Program

(March 8, 2011) – Will an MBA help you get ahead in your career? What is an accelerated program? Can you handle the stress of getting a
graduate degree in eleven months? These are just a few of the questions prospective students can get answers to at a series of open house events sponsored by the Richard T. Doermer School of Business (DSB) at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) in the coming weeks.

Prospective students, current students, and alumni are invited to attend any of the following open houses where they will be able to speak
with current students and faculty about the accelerated MBA program.

? Wednesday, March 23, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Main Library in downtown Fort Wayne
? Thursday, March 24, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at IPFW’s Warsaw Center
? Tuesday, March 29, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Georgetown Library Branch
? Wednesday, March 30, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Dupont Library Branch

IPFW’s accelerated MBA program offers a convenient schedule with most classes meeting Friday evenings and Saturdays. No GMAT is required and successful applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant work experience or familiarity with the basics in accounting, finance, economics, ethics, and the regulatory environment. Graduates earn an internationally recognized degree at the only university in northeast Indiana accredited by AACSB-International.
