Bishop Dwenger Student Art on Display in Lugar Fort Wayne Office

(March 10, 2011) – Senator Dick Lugar’s Northeast Indiana Community Service Center in Fort Wayne will host a new artwork display from Bishop Dwenger High School for the month of March. The visual arts program at Bishop Dwenger has 300 students participating each semester.

Bishop Dwenger High School enrolls 1017 students and is located in Fort Wayne. The fine arts department offers courses in photography, advanced photography, digital design, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, painting and drawing.

The paintings in the March display are by Bishop Dwenger student artists who are enrolled in the introductory art course, Intro 2D. The featured artists include: Lauren Adamson, Haley Blackburn, Andrea Bloom, Grace Cebalt, Nicole Freiburger, Erin Grutsch, Catie Martino, Kelsey Richard, Madison Shutt and Leah Stetzel.
