Stutzman To Chair VA Subcommittee
Washington, DC – Chairman Jeff Miller announces his appointment of Congressman Marlin Stutzman as Chairman of the House Veterans’ Affairs Subcommittee on Economic Opportunity. The Subcommittee has legislative, oversight and investigative jurisdiction over education of veterans, employment and training of veterans, vocational rehabilitation, veterans’ housing programs, readjustment of servicemembers to civilian life, and servicemembers civil relief.

I am honored to have this opportunity to help lead the charge to protect the Veterans’ of this Nation.” Stutzman said. “It is of the utmost importance to make sure that Service men and women transition out of the military and into the civilian ranks with the best opportunities for economic success.”
Congressman Stutzman represents the 3rd Congressional District of Indiana. The 3rd District contains all of DeKalb, Kosciusko, Lagrange, Noble, Steuben, and Whitley counties; as well as parts of Allen and Elkhart counties.
