Eric Doden announces strong Q4 2010 fund-raising totals
Begins 2011 with more than $101,000 cash on hand

Republican mayoral candidate Eric Doden announced strong fund-raising totals of more than $100,000 for the end of 2010, a sign his positive message and plans of a better economic future for Fort Wayne are connecting with voters.

From the time of his formation of an exploratory committee in early November 2010 through the end of the year, Doden raised more than $109,000 from a wide base of individual and organizational donors. Doden enters the 2011 primary season with more than $101,000 cash on hand.

“This broad base of support from throughout the community is a clear message that voters are energized by the idea of something bigger for our city,” Doden said. “I’m the only candidate in this campaign with a specific plan for creating jobs and modernizing our city’s economy. It’s an ambitious plan, but it’s also detailed and focused, and it gets people excited about Fort Wayne future.”

“This is a great start to our campaign, but it’s only that—a start,” he continued. “We will continue to listen to and talk with voters throughout the city, making sure our campaign is focused on the issues and challenges facing our community.”

 

About Eric Doden
For the past two-plus years, Doden has served as the director of investments at Ambassador Enterprises, a Fort Wayne-based consulting, investment and private equity firm. Prior to joining Ambassador Enterprises, he led the distribution and fabrication arms of Ambassador Steel Corporation.

Doden graduated from Valparaiso University School of Law and from Hillsdale College with majors in business finance and Christian Studies. He is a member of the Fort Wayne Chapter of Executive Forums, a current board member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and a former board member of his local church.
