Press release from the Community Harvest Food Bank:

Brad Paisley To Help Feed Area Hungry

(January 10 , 2011) – Those attending the Brad Paisley H2O Frozen Over Tour concert at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum on Friday, January 21 have the chance to get up close and personal with the singer if they also help feed hungry people in northeast Indiana that evening. For every five cans of food brought to the concert each concert-goer will receive a chance to meet Brad Paisley backstage.

Each person bringing a food donation to the concert for Community Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Indiana will be given a short form to fill out requiring their name, address, and a cell phone number that can be called that evening to alert the concert-goer that they have won. Their name will also appear of the large screen. For every five items donated, a form will be filled-out and entered in the drawing. The winner will get to meet Brad Paisley, considered one of country music’s most original and multi-talented artists with three GRAMMYs and named best Male Vocalist for the last three years by the Country Music Association and the last four by the Academy of Country Music and was 2010’s CMA Entertainer of the Year.

“We are so pleased to be able to partner with Brad Paisley,” said Jane Avery, executive director, Community Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Indiana. “Clearly he understands the plight of those who are struggling and he wants to use his celebrity to help them. That says so much about his character and Community Harvest is so grateful for his compassion.” said Avery. “The kind folks at Live Nation called us and asked what could be done to help and we were thrilled to take them up on their offer!”

Doors open at 6:30PM and the concert begins at 7:30PM . Look for the Community Harvest table to the right of the elevator by the Expo IV doors to drop off your food donation and fill out a form for every five non-perishable food items. No glass, please. A food donation does not constitute admission to the concert and you must already have a concert admission ticket to participate in this opportunity to meet Brad Paisley.
