Brown agrees that City Court ill-conceived
(December 23, 2010) – The Mayor made the right decision in declaring an end to the hasty process to pursue the formation of another local bureaucracy: a city court.
Streamlining systems and reducing waste would not happen by adding another layer of government. We should look first at collaborating with our county partners. Before we create a purportedly new revenue stream, we should clearly delineate the real costs and benefits of this new system.
