The Allen County Election Board will be meeting next Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at 10 am in the Election Board’s office in the City-County Building.
There are only two items on the agenda:
- Approval of November 12, 2010 Minutes
- Campaign Finance Violation – Friends of Good Government Complaint
This is the violation that was based on the complaint filed by then Judge Ken Scheibenberger in regards to campaign signs, which had no disclaimers as to their origin, and television commercials supporting then Judge-elect Wendy Davis. Another part of the issue was questions over exactly when the Friends of Good Government formed. Wendy Davis was sworn in yesterday at the Allen County Courthouse as an Allen County Superior Court Criminal Division Judge.
