Another Committee assignment for Congressman Stutzman

Press release from Indiana 3rd Congressional District Congressman Marlin Stutzman’s office:

Stutzman To Serve on the Committee on Veterans’ Affairs in the 112th Congress

(Washington, DC) – Congressman Marlin Stutzman has been appointed to the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs. With the large amount of military recruiting that historically has happened in Indiana it is important to have representation on this oversight committee. As the military changes the mission of the Reserves and National Guard it is essential to understand the current needs and future plans of those who return home. With two VA healthcare centers it is vital to understand the needs of the nearly 50,000 veterans that call Indiana’s 3rd District home.

“Being a VA Committee Member allows me to honor Veterans for their service and work to protect their future.”

Congressman Stutzman represents the 3rd Congressional District of Indiana. The 3rd District contains all of DeKalb, Kosciusko, Lagrange, Noble, Steuben, and Whitley counties; as well as parts of Allen and Elkhart counties.
