Mad Ants 2010 Draft Recap
Mad Ants select Obi Muonelo in the 1st Round.

(November 1, 2010)-The Fort Wayne Mad Ants selected Obi Muonelo, a 6’5″ guard from Oklahoma St., in the first round of the 2010 NBA Development League Draft. The team drafted 7 players to complete the 17 man training camp roster.

As a senior, Muonelo ranked second in the Big 12 in three-point shooting percentage (.425, 80-188). He averaged 13.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 33 games, earning All-Big 12 honorable mention honors.

The Mad Ants made a trade with Maine just prior to tonight’s draft. The Mad Ants traded their 2nd round pick for Red Claw’s returner Darnell Lazare. Lazare averaged 10.5 points and 5.4 rebounds in 50 games for the Red Claws.

In the third round the Ants picked up Corey Allmond, a 6’2″ guard out of Sam Houston University. Allmond averaged 15.8 points per game and earned First Team All-Southland honors.

NBA Development League
