Citilink wins safety award
(October 6, 2010) – The Fort Wayne Public Transportation Corporation (Citilink) has won the Indiana Transportation Association Safety Award. This award is in recognition of the best 2009 safety record of all large (Class 1) Indiana transit systems. Citilink also won this award last year and in 2006.
“As safety is our first priority, it is rewarding to be recognized as the best in the State of Indiana for three of the past five years”, stated Assistant General Manager Betsy Kachmar. Citilink’s mission is to provide safe, courteous and dependable public transportation at the most reasonable cost to our community.
