The Guess Who to Perform at Foellinger Theatre
The Fort Wayne Parks & Recreation Department welcomes the world-famous Canadian Rock band The Guess Who to the Foellinger Outdoor Theatre at 8 pm, Saturday, September 11. Tickets are $25.
This band, which rose to stardom in the late 60’s and early 70’s, is known for such hits as “American Woman,” “Clap for the Wolfman,” “These Eyes” and “No Sugar Tonight.” The band members are founding member and original drummer/songwriter Garry Peterson, fellow co-founder, songwriter and bassist Jim Kale, Leonard Shaw on keys, flute and vocals, Derek Sharp on lead vocals and guitar, and newest member Laurie MacKenzie on guitar and vocals.
The Guess Who concert is sponsored by Fun 101.7 WLDE, Champions Sports Bar and Restaurant and Whatzup.
Concert tickets may be purchased on-line at www.fortwayneparks.org through Monday, September 6, or Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm at the Parks & Recreation office, 705 E. State Blvd.
