Press release from the Allen County Human Resources department:

How to find and use Disability Statistics
Free Audio Conference on Tuesday, June 15th at City-County Building

The Allen County Human Resources will host a free audio conference on how to find and use disability statistics.

What will the 2010 U.S. Census tell about people with disabilities? Where does the 54 million Americans living with a disability number come from that is often quoted in the media? Andrew Houtenville, from the University of New Hampshire, will answer some of the frequently asked questions about disability statistics. He will also discuss the various sources of statistics related to disability, how to use them and interpret them, and what can we expect to learn about disability from the recent Census.

The free audio conference will be held on Tuesday, June 15th from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. at the City-County Building, Room 350, located at 1 E. Main Street in Fort Wayne.
