11:00 am to Midnight – Headwaters Park Festival Plaza open

11:30 am - Die Freudemacher at the Headwaters Park Festival Plaza

12 noon to 9:00 pm – Fun Daily Activities at the Headwaters Park Festival Plaza
Fun Festival Kiddie Rides by Miller Family Amusements (Noon-8:00PM)
Paint it German – Face painting by Sweetcakes Comedy Entertainment Company.
Balloons to the Moon: unusual and unique ballon sculpting by Kevin Harris.

12:15 pm - Germanfest Organ Concert at the Redeemer Lutheran Church at 202 W Rudisill Blvd
Tim McEwen, organist and organ builder from England, will perform selections of well-known German composers. Relax as you listen to works by some of Germany’s most famous composers. Sponsored by the Fort Wayne Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.

3:45 pm - Hank Haller Ensemble at the Headwaters Park Festival Plaza

7:30 pm - Legs ‘n Lederhosen Kontest on the Festival Pavilion Stage
Got Lederhosen? Wear ’em! If not, create your own! MC for the evening: Tina Harris from Majic 95.1 FM. Our judges will be the Fort Wayne Mad Ants Cheerleaders, AKA the “Madame Ants”. Contestants are pre-selected; entry forms can be found in the Germanfest flyer. Win prizes and take home your trophy! Open to men and women. Rules on entry form. Enter early, limited to 25 contestants. Don your trachten (traditional German folk wear) and sign up for this event! Contestants each get a moment in the spotlight as they model for a panel of celebrity judges. Prizes and trophies awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners!
