American Red Cross Announces June Health & Safety Classes

(May 17, 2010) – The American Red Cross of Northeast Indiana announces the following Health & Safety classes for the month of June. In observance of National CPR/AED Awareness Week from June 1-7, the Red Cross is offering class discounts of $10.00 for all classes held from June 1-7. In addition, all CPR breathing barriers will be discounted 15% during the same week.

Adult, Child, and Infant CPR & First Aid ($55.00)

  • Saturday, June 5 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (discounted to $45.00)
  • Monday, June 14 and Wednesday, June 16 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. (attend both nights)
  • Saturday, June 19 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Adult, Child, and Infant CPR ($50.00)

  • Friday, June 18 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Monday, June 28 and Tuesday, June 29 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. (attend both nights)

Adult, Child, and Infant CPR Review ($35.00)

  • Thursday, June 10 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Tuesday, June 15 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Adult CPR and AED (automated external defibrillator) (discounted to $35.00)

  • Tuesday, June 1 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

First Aid ($30.00)

  • Monday, June 14 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Babysitter’s Training ($40.00)

  • Saturday, June 12 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, June 26 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Pet First Aid ($35.00)

  • Wednesday, June 9 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

To register for a class, please call (260) 484.9336 ext. 240, visit redcrossofnei.org or visit the Red Cross at 1212 E. California Rd. (across from the Memorial Coliseum) in Fort Wayne Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. All classes are held at California Rd. location.
