The Mizpah Shriners annual Vadalia Onion fundraiser begins in the morning.
The sale takes place at the southwest corner of Main and Ewing Streets in downtown Fort Wayne. Â It begins at 9 am and runs until 5 pm each day until the onions are gone. Â The cost is $10.95 per 10-pound bag.
The money is to be raised for the Shrine van transportation fund. The vans take patients to and from Shriners Hospitals in Chicago and Cincinnati at no cost to the families.
