Parkview television program features Top 100 recognition
(May 3, 2010) – Parkview Health has its own television program, “Parkview: Your Community, Your Hospital.” The focus of the program is to give viewers a closer look at Parkview, and the services the health system provides.
The newest program features Parkview’s recognition as being one of the Top 100 Best Places to Work in Healthcare by Modern Healthcare magazine.
The Modern Healthcare survey considered any health care-related employer with at least 25 employees. Employees at each organization were selected at random to participate in the survey. Inclusion in the top 100 list is based on favorable employee responses to questions regarding:
- Leadership and planning
- Culture and communications
- Role satisfaction
- Work environment
- Relationship with supervisor
- Training and development
- Pay and benefits
- Overall satisfaction
The program features comments from Mike Packnett, president and CEO Parkview Health and Debra Williams, senior VP, human resources, Parkview Health. An additional segment highlights a new initiative designed to enhance patient care at Parkview Hospital.
