WBTU-FM / U.S. 93.3 team up with the National Association of Letter Carriers for the “18th Annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive”
WBTU-FM / U.S. 93.3 has teamed up with Local Branch 116 of the National Association of Letter Carriers for the “18thAnnual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.” In response to a struggling economy, the demand for non-perishable items from area food banks has increased drastically.
On Saturday May 8th, area letter carriers while delivering their mail routes will pick up donated food by customers on the route. However, this year, Local Branch 116 has decided to get an early start on the campaign -the U.S. 93.3 45′ Campaign Trail Tour Bus will be on site at a participating Scott’s and/or Kroger location on May 6th& May 7thas we “Fill the Bus”! U.S. 93.3 will encourage the citizens of Fort Wayne to donate non-perishable food items, which will be donated to the Associated Churches of Allen County.
