Bob Thomas’ campaign reaches new low
(May 3, 2010) Republican congressional candidate Bob Thomas is currently running ads on WOWO that are deliberately false in an attempt to slander fellow candidate, Phil Troyer.
“Bob Thomas has reached a new low,” said Troyer. “The new ad claims I support gay marriage, which I have refuted many times. In addition, the ad claims I received a ‘D’ from the NRA. As this link confirms, I received a ‘B’.”
“We have never seen this type of campaigning in northeast Indiana,” Troyer noted. “Apparently, he believes he is permitted to do anything to win. However, he antics are slanderous and should not be permitted to stand without strong condemnation and, perhaps, legal action.”
