Dupont Road temporarily closed as part of SR 3/Lima Road project
Crews installing storm sewer lines, road slated to reopen at 6 p.m. WednesdayDupont Road just east of SR 3/Lima Road is currently closed and is scheduled to re-open at approximately 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 21.
As part of an Indiana Department of Transportation improvement project, the section of roadway will be closed for storm sewer installation. This is part of INDOT’s additional travel lanes project on Lima Road/S.R. 3 between Ludwig Road and Dupont Road.
Drivers can use the following as an alternate route: south on Coldwater, west on Cook and north on Lima.
Northbrook Road is now partially open to one lane in each direction.
INDOT’s 2.88-mile added travel lanes project includes three northbound and three southbound lanes, raised center curb median separating opposing traffic, curb/gutter, closed drainage system, inlets, sewer pipes, and 8-foot-wide multiuse path on both sides. Project will be complete in 2011.
