CANI seeking partner businesses for youth program

Press release from CANI:

CANI seeking partner businesses for youth program

CANI(Community Action of Northeast Indiana) is seeking support from local businesses for a career shadow day.  In the summer of 2009, CANI expanded its outreach with the establishment of a youth program. The long-term goal is to help youth successfully transition from school to adulthood.

The agency is continuing momentum with the execution of a second youth shadowing day. The purpose of the effort is to expose local middle school students to various career fields. Currently, CANI is seeking mentors in a variety of fields.  CANI will act as a liaison between the business and the student. Dates and times are negotiable. This is a great opportunity to empower youth and enhance your company’s reputation.
