INDOT Public Meeting Highlights Bridge Call for Projects
Presentations begin at 8:45 April 15, Fort Wayne District Building(March 31, 2010) The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) Fort Wayne District announces that presentations will be given by counties that have applied for federal bridge funding. The meeting will be at 8:45 April 15 in the Fort Wayne District Administration Building, 5333 Hatfield Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana, 46808.
Seven counties have submitted applications for Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Bridge funds. The funds, which are administered by INDOT, may be used as reimbursement for any phase of the project but may not exceed 80% of the total project cost.
At the April 15 meeting, officials from each county will provide information about its project, how it will benefit the community and the requested funds. After each presentation, INDOT personnel will ask questions and discuss the projects’ merits with county officials.
The following counties have submitted applications: Adams, Allen, Elkhart, Huntington, Miami, Noble, and Wells.
