Brandon Talbert Selected as Director of Business Recruitment

(February 10, 2010) The Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership (NEIRP) has announced Mr. Brandon Talbert will join the Partnership as Director of Business Recruitment.

With an official start date of February 22, 2010, Talbert will be responsible for generating leads and cultivating contacts to bring business investment to the region. Talbert will dedicate his time to leading the NEIRP’s business attraction activities focusing on northeast Indiana’s target industries. He will work closely with the 10-county region’s local economic development organization partners to meet the needs of site selection consultants and companies looking to relocate or expand to the region.

“The Partnership is a strong organization and well-positioned for success. With this foundation, my experience in Tennessee can benefit the region’s stakeholders in the objective to attract new project leads,” said Talbert. “I have had the opportunity to cultivate relationships with many of the top site selectors around the country and I’m looking forward to introducing them to the assets of northeast Indiana.”

Formerly the Marketing and Client Services Manager with The Regional Alliance for Economic Development for Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia, Talbert was integral to the success of the marketing and outreach programs at the organization. “Brandon is a results-driven professional,” said John Sampson, President/CEO of NEIRP. “His reputation and connections within the economic development and site selection communities will allow him to contribute immediately to our mission to bring projects to the region.”

“The addition of Brandon to the NEIRP Business Development team strengthens the region’s ability to tell the story of northeast Indiana to the world,” said Rick Sherck, Executive Director for the Noble County Economic Development Corp. “I am very pleased to have Brandon join our team.”
