Free Audio Conference:Â Aging Workers with Disabilities: Implications for Employers
(February 5, 2010) Are you interested in learning about the aging workforce and the increasing numbers of workers with disabilities? If so, you may want to attend the ADA audio conference: Aging Workers with Disabilities: Implications for Employers
Description: The aging workforce is likely to result in increasing numbers of workers with disabilities. By the end of this year, this group will account for nearly half (44%) of the working age population (20-64), and the number of people with disabilities between the ages of 50 and 65 is predicted to double.
Guest speaker: Susanne Bruyere, Director of the Employment and Disability Institute at Cornell University. Â She will discuss the practices associated with maximizing the productivity of an aging workforce and contribute to aging worker retention.
