FWCS to Strives again for Miracle Corporation status

Fort Wayne Community Schools will kickoff its annual fundraiser for Riley Hospital for Children at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, at Croninger Elementary School, 6700 Trier Road.

This is the third year FWCS has participated as a district in raising money through the Riley Kids Caring & Sharing program. In two years, FWCS has raised more than $60,000 for the Riley Children’s Foundation. In 2008, FWCS was named a “Miracle Corporation” for raising $1 for every student in the district. FWCS is hoping to regain that status this year. Come to the press conference to learn more about the fundraiser, the strong connection between Riley Hospital and Fort Wayne and hear from FWCS families who have relied on the services of Riley Hospital.
