Lutheran Offers Free Access to Dietitians as Part of Heart Month

(Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010) – As Heart Month approaches, the region’s leader in cardiac care, Lutheran Hospital, encourages people to make heart-healthy food choices. To help our community access accurate information about eating heart-healthy, registered dietitians will be stationed in a booth at the Lutheran Heart Pavilion on Feb. 9-10, to share ideas and answer heart-related questions.

The public is invited to speak with the registered dietitians from 9 to 11 a.m. on Feb. 9 and from 1 to 3 p.m. on Feb. 10. Recipes and information about Lutheran Hospital’s upcoming cardiac risk reduction classes will also be available. Free, accessible parking is available near the Lutheran Heart Pavilion.
