Allen County Boards and Commissions Info Now Available Online
Free access includes roster, application form(December 22, 2009) – Information about the 29 public service boards and commissions which the Allen County Board of Commissioners makes appointments to is now available on the County’s website.
The Boards and Commissions page can be found by going to the Featured Sites section of the website’s home page and clicking on Board of Commissioners.
Included on the page is a brief description of the responsibilities, duties and makeup of each board or commission. Also, there is a listing of the current roster of each board and an application form which can be filled out and submitted by any citizen interested in serving on a board. A resume or biography must also accompany the application form.
“This information should be of great value to those citizens who wish to serve their community by volunteering their time and talents for one of these important boards,” said County Commissioner Bill Brown.
