Annual Anthis fruit sale begins Thursday

The 20th Annual Anthis Career Center fruit sale begins Thursday, Dec. 10, at the Anthis
Automotive Center on the corner of Lafayette and Lewis streets (enter on Lewis Street). Fruit will be sold from 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 8:30 a.m.-noon Saturday, or until all the fruit is sold. If fruit remains after Saturday, it will be sold from from 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. on Dec. 14 and 15.

Proceeds from the sale support career education programs.

The fruit comes from California, Texas, Washington and Spain, and is available in a variety of packages.
