North Side, Snider, New Tech students at Wayne and Elmhurst are hosting food drives and asking neighbors of the schools to contribute. Some students will be out in neighborhoods collecting door-to-door from homes and businesses. Others will work school events to collect donations. Students will also help box items at Miss Virginia’s and St. Mary’s and will help serve meals at St. Mary’s Soup Kitchen on Thanksgiving Day. Food items and donations will be collected through Dec. 11.
