Exact Quilting: Calendar Border, Tuesdays, Dec. 1 – Dec. 8, 5:30 – 8:30 pm

As a hobby, quilting is practical, relaxing, creative and fun. Paper-pieced patchwork blocks are quick and easy to produce. With no templates to make or fabric to mark, you go right to your sewing machine and begin stitching blocks. With this technique there is no high degree of skill necessary to make intricate patchwork designs. If you can machine sew a straight line, you can create paper-pieced patchwork. You should be able to complete any unfinished work at home. There will be a variety of fabric to choose from or you may bring your own. Please bring your own sewing machine, if possible. We have a limited number on hand. A supply list will be provided when you register. Instructor: Linda Wade. There will be no class on November 11 and 25. Registration deadlines: November 24. Fee: $29.

30 Days of Delicious Cooking, Thursday, Dec. 3, 6:30 – 8:30 pm

Take the stress out of meal preparation by assembling 30 days of delicious, fresh-tasting and nutritious entrees, side dishes and snacks to freeze now and eat later. You’ll save time and money. Instructor Ambia Cooper will show you in just two hours how to accomplish this task. The class fee includes the book “The Freezer Cooking Manual: A Month of Meals Made Easy,” authored by Indiana residents Nanci Slagle and Tara Wohlenhaus. Registration deadline: November 26. Fee: $29.

Jewelry Making with PMC3, Thursdays, Dec. 3 – 10, 6 – 8 pm

Create your own fine silver jewelry using simple tools and PMC3, a unique new clay that can be hand formed, dried and fired in a kiln to produce 99.9% pure silver.
