FWCS/FWEA join with United Way for Live United Family Night

Fort Wayne Community Schools, the Fort Wayne Education Association and United Way of Allen County are teaming up for Live United Family Night from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, at North Side High School, 475 E. State Blvd.

At least 20 community agencies and partners will set up information booths. Among the participating organizations are: FWCS Continuing Education, FWCS Student Services, FWEA Read Across America, 211, Learn United, 21st Century Scholars, Salvation Army, Fort Wayne-Allen County Department of Health, Family and Children’s Services, Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service, YMCA, Urban League, CANI, Lutheran Social Services, Pathfinders and Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Northeast Indiana. The event will also feature Clifford the Big Red Dog, the Cat in the Hat, story time with Real Men Read volunteers and free books to the first 100 students.

The event is free and open to the public. It is part of the FWCS/FWEA United Way campaign to Double the Donors.
