At this mornings Allen County Board of Commissioners meeting, three County elected officials were recognized for the awards they received from the Association of Indiana Counties (AIC).
At its awards ceremony on Wednesday night, the AIC presented the 2009 County Achievement Award to Allen County and the office of County Recorder John McGauley for creation of its Neighborhood Resource Center. In addition, Allen County Clerk of the Courts Therese Brown was named the AIC’s Outstanding Clerk, and Allen County Assessor Stacey O’Day was named the state’s Outstanding Assessor.
