Calling all runners and walkers, you can pre-register for the American Red Cross Run 4 Red Saturday, Sept.12 from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Three Rivers Running Company located at 4227 N. Clinton in Fort Wayne.

The American Red Cross of Northeast Indiana, with the support of Lutheran Health Network, welcomes teams and individual runners for the first annual Run 4 Red 5K Cross Country race to raise awareness of the importance of being prepared.  You and your family can learn how to be prepared in case of an emergency by visiting the Red Cross preparedness station at the event.

With the support of the community, the Red Cross has also been collecting pennies for the penny campaign “It’s All About the Lincolns”.  You can help the Red Cross continue to prepare and bring your loose change to the Run.   All funds raised will benefit local Red Cross programs and services that help the community prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.

Run 4 Red is open to the general public.  The Red Cross encourages all members of the community to show their support and get prepared!  Register your team today by visiting the Red Cross website.  For additional questions, please contact Lynda Houk at (260) 484.9336 ext. 226 or e-mail.
