TinCaps Game Suspended, To Resume Tuesday at 6:00pm
Fort Wayne trailing 4-1 when game halted due to weatherThe Fort Wayne TinCaps’ game against the Dayton Dragons Monday at Parkview Field was suspended overnight due to heavy rain in Northeast Indiana. The Dragons led, 4-1, going to the bottom of the 4th when rain and lightning descended on Fort Wayne and halted the game.
The game will be finished as part of a makeshift doubleheader, Tuesday at Parkview Field at 6:00pm. The game will be nine innings in length. Shortly after the first game is finished, a seven inning game will finish the night’s action.
Tickets from Monday’s rain out can be redeemed for a regular season game the remainder of the 2009 season, based on availability. Tickets must be exchanged in person at the Parkview Field Ticket Office.
The TinCaps have Wednesday off, then open a four-game series against the Lansing Lugnuts on Thursday at 7:05pm at Parkview Field.
