Last Monday, August 10, 2009, the law firm of Rothberg, Logan & Warsco LLP. held a groundbreaking at their new location, 505 E Washington.

This is the former BioLife building.  We have been following the progress on this blog.  A statement from the law firm follows:

The law firm of Rothberg Logan & Warsco LLP held a ground breaking ceremony on Monday, August 10th at 11:00 a.m. at the location of their future home at 505 E. Washington Blvd. Rothberg Logan & Warsco has been practicing law in Fort Wayne and the surrounding area for 57 years and is currently located at 110 W. Berry Street.

Andi Udris of the FWAC Econ Development Alliance opened the ceremony, followed by Michael Deam, associate managing partner of Rothberg Logan & Warsco LLP, who described the building project.

On hand to help dedicate the site were Mayor Tom Henry and Congressman Mark Souder – both of whom gave praise to the local firm for their commitment to the community and dedication to the continued efforts toward downtown improvement. Both elected officials also gave accounts of their ties to the firm through close connections with two of the firm’s founders, Dick Doermer and Tom Gallmeyer, and highlighted their focus on relationships – which are still a top priority for the attorneys at Rothberg Logan & Warsco today.

Construction should be completed near Thanksgiving and the firm should be in their new home shortly thereafter.
