A tentative schedule has been released for the 2010 budget process.
The City has been given an extra month to approve the budget. Â The schedule, subject to change, is as follows:
- 08/06/2009 – Controller Pat Roller discussion with Mayor Tom Henry
- 08/10 – 08/20/2009 – Meetings with Divisions
- 09/02/2009 – 16 line statement and completion of Allen County Council non-binding review report due to the City and County Councils
- 09/08/2009 – Finalized Budgets
- 09/18/2009 – Budget books to City Council
- 09/22/2009 – Budget introduced at City Council
- 10/27/2009 – final day for Budget passage
Councilwoman Liz Brown will preside over the City Council’s Budget Hearings.
