Fergie Jenkins to Take In TinCaps Game at Parkview Field
Former Chicago Cub and Hall of Famer to visit Fort Wayne July 15th to throw out ceremonial first pitch and enjoy downtown ballparkChicago Cubs fans should be on the lookout next week when Fergie Jenkins will be visiting Fort Wayne on Wednesday, July 15th. Jenkins will be visiting Parkview Field for a ballgame that night at 7:05pm when the TinCaps take on the Clinton Lumberkings. Jenkins will be throwing out a ceremonial first pitch to start the game.
Jenkins joins a long list of former Chicago Cub greats to visit Fort Wayne, including Ernie Banks, Andre Dawson and Ryne Sandberg. While not available for autographs during the TinCaps game, Fergie will be making an appearance, as a guest of Miller High Life, at the Cap N Cork located on Coldwater Road beginning at 2:00pm that afternoon. Fans 21 years of age or older are invited to that location for an autograph session that is scheduled to run until 4:00pm.

Tickets are still available for the game by logging on to TinCaps.com, calling the TinCaps Office at (260) 482-6400 or by visiting the Parkview Field Ticket Office located at the south entrance of the ballpark. Ticket Office hours are from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
