The Associated Press is reporting that the Indiana Senate has passed the budget bill which now goes before Governor Mitch Daniels for signature.
The Senate voted 34-16 today in favor of the plan, which was passed earlier in the day by the House in a 62-37 vote. Â Republican leaders are saying the Governor will support the budget. Â It will spend an estimated $27.8 billion over the next two years, but will protect the state’s reserves.
