What’s Happening June 13-24 at Foellinger Theatre

The Bel Airs – This group is back again, bringing their popular Rock-A-Billy music. Saturday, June 13, 8pm, $4. Sponsor: 102.9 The River.

Fort Wayne Area Community Band – Tuesday, June 16, 8pm, FREE. An All American Concert. The band will salute American composers. Talented high school band members will be joining the FWACB.

Movie: “Mamma Mia” – The story of a bride-to-be trying to find her real father told using hit songs by the popular ’70s group ABBA. 2008, PG13, Wednesday, June 17, 8:30pm, FREE. Sponsor: WMEE.

The Old Crown Brass Band – This FREE program consists of an eclectic mix of classic, British brass band selections, marches, show tunes and easy-listening. They might ask for your participation in a sing-along medley. Thursday, June 18, 8pm.

Revolution, A Beatles Tribute – This four man group of Beatles impersonators delivers a concert that takes the audience time traveling through the 60’s. REVOLUTION captures the very essence of four young men whose music continues to win the hearts of millions and whose melodies provided the soundtrack for an era. Saturday, June 20, 8pm, $6. Sponsors: WLDE, Whatzup.

Movie: “Oliver” – Musical adaptation about an orphan who runs away from an orphanage and hooks up with a group of boys trained to be pickpockets by an elderly mentor. Wednesday, June 24, 8:30 pm. 1968, G. FREE. Sponsor: WMEE.
