Busy couple of days ahead…

Several events will be going on tomorrow, Friday and Saturday.

Tomorrow, Mayor Tom Henry will be talking about, “Food for the Fort” which is a community gardening project to provide fresh produce to the Burmese population. Governor Mitch Daniels will be in town tomorrow afternoon to discuss the state’s fiscal outlook and next biennial budget. 

Twice tomorrow, Jack Murrah, former President of Chattanooga’s Lyndhurst Foundation will speak to groups about Chattanooga’s renaissance and its relevance to Fort Wayne’s own challenges and opportunities.

On Friday, the Principal Financial Group Family Fun Fest comes to town before the TinCaps face the Burlington Bees at Parkview Field. Fireworks will end the games on Friday and Saturday nights.
