Harrison Square Parking Garage Opens to Public Tuesday
Fully automated garage has same hourly rates as Civic Center garageThe parking garage at Harrison Square will open to the public for hourly rates starting Tuesday morning.
The fully automated garage will have about a total of 240 spaces on the first and second floors available for hourly parking. The other three floors are reserved from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays for Lincoln Financial Group employees.
The garage has entrances on Harrison Street and the newly one-way Douglas Street for westbound traffic.
The hourly rates will be the same as the Civic Center Garage across from the Hilton Hotel, ranging from 50 cents for up to 45 minutes to $7 for 24 hours. Special event parking will be $4 and collected when vehicles enter the garage.
Monthly parking is also available to the public. For a space reserved from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. weekdays, the monthly fee is $60. For a reserved space 24 hours a day, including weekends, the cost is $71 per month. For more information about monthly parking, contact Pat Hayes at 466-5839.
Garage users can use cash or a credit or debit card to pay for hourly parking. No parking attendant will be at the garage but will be available via intercom. The garage will have parking fees after hours and on the weekends.
