The Fort Wayne Redevelopment opened the bid yesterday for the Superior Street Row project.
One sole bid, as before, was received. The bid was from Michael McKay of Hartland Development, LLC. The minimum bid price for the land was $65,335. The City had two appraisals on the property and this was the average of the two. The land for sale encompasses 8,000 square feet. The developer had stated in an earlier Redevelopment Meeting that the building would be four stories, one floor retail and three floors residential for a total of 32,000 square feet. Redevelopment will review the submitted bid and report to the Redevelopment Commission soon.
