Hoosierdome demolition and a mixed-use parking garage

On the trip to Indianapolis, Indiana, on Tuesday, I shot a few photos.  The above photos is of the Hoosierdome which is still being demolished.  I apologize for the hazy quality.  It was mid-morning and the area was just beginning to emerge from the shadows allowing the haze to burn off in the warm sun.  In the distance is the fairly new Lucas Oil Stadium.

Other photos in the set include the Indiana State Capitol and a mixed-use parking garage.  The parking garage features restaurants on the ground floor, including a brewery with it’s tanks visible in the front windows.  It’s too bad this wasn’t considered for the Harrison Square parking deck, although it is setback from the street 30 feet on the Harrison Street side to allow for the addition of a condo/retail structure.
