The City Council voted this evening to override Mayor Tom Henry’s veto of the Firefighter Merit Board Ordinance. Â The final vote was 6-3 with Marty Bender, Tim Pape and John Shoaff voting no. Â More in this in a short while. Â I shot video of the roll call vote and will be uploading it shortly. Â I do have to warn you that the video is a bit shaky. Â I was supposed to have my new camera before tonight, but it’s not arrived so I had to use the stand-by. Â I’ll post as soon as the video is viewable.
