22 – Headwaters Park Changing Leaves
11/3/2007 – The changing leaves in Headwaters Park, along Barr Street. This photo was taken from the Observation Deck at the Lincoln Tower. I usually prefer to take photos along Clinton Street and the “Avenue of Trees” or the “Clinton Street Parade” as they’re known. Last year’s changing however proved disappointing in that the colors were duller than usual. In fact, they did last about 2 weeks longer than normal, but were motley in appearance. The amazing thing about last year’s change was that Duck Street didn’t change until the very last minute and in fact, hit their peak the end of November, first week of December. Brilliant colors! For photos of the 2007 changing, click here. If you scroll up the page, you’ll find photos of previous year’s changings.
