Tonight’s weather story from the National Weather Service:
Wet start to the work week
Increasing clouds overnight
(September 23, 2018) – Expect increasing clouds overnight, with rain arriving in areas south of US 24 by early Monday afternoon. Rain will lift northward into the evening hours, with the higher chances remaining across the southeast. Thunderstorms are possible.
Rain is also likely on Tuesday, and there is some potential for severe weather with any thunderstorms that manage to develop. Confidence is still low in severe weather occurring, but the Storm Prediction Center has our area in a slight risk. Monitor our webpage, or visit the Storm Prediction Center website at https://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/outlook/ for more details.
